International Experience Canada (IEC) enables our participants to do so!

To make our international internships possible, IEC provides support to our participants by enabling access to work permits or visas, for your experience abroad.

Selected participants will receive a grant to cover 100% of AIESEC program fees & a portion of their flights!


Payments & Documents

Living costs & flights vary per country. We have mentioned costs per country above based on past experiences but keep in mind your insurance, flight and AIESEC fee to start.

A local AIESEC representative will assist you with securing your visa and insurance. 

Different countries require different documents however you will always require your passport and insurance. 

The salary will vary on each opportunity, read the job description and the logistics carefully and feel free to ask questions to your AIESEC representative. 


You must a between the age of 18-30

Opportunities are open to all nationalities. Please note however that visa requirements vary based on your nationality.

Yes, you will need to attend an Outgoing Preparation Seminar with AIESEC in Canada and an Incoming Preparation Seminar with AIESEC in the host country you are going to. You will also attend a debrief session with AIESEC in Canada after you complete your experience abroad.

To be selected in a project, you need to first apply to opportunities, once your application is selected an interview will be done online. Click here to make your profile.


Yes, after you finish your experience, you will be asked to fill out two surveys in your profile on after which you can download your certificate.

We have 26 local offices and each office helps student from in and around their city to go abroad. Our National office is in Toronto and Global office in Montreal.
