Here are the steps you will need to take in order to become an active member of AIESEC Western:

1. Attend an information session (in September or January) or contact our office directly for more information.


2. Purchase an AIESEC membership package ($20) which includes an AIESEC membership card and a New Members Induction Guide.
3. Fill out the online Membership Application Form. The membership form is designed to help us to understand your strengths and weaknesses as well as assign you to the appropriate portfolio in AIESEC. You will also be contacted by a member of our Executive Board for a personal interview in order to further assess your interests and customize your AIESEC experience to suit your needs.
4. The previous step will automatically register you on our internal communication system. However, all members are responsible for registering themselves on the internal AIESEC website: www.myaiesec.net. Once you have registered, you must wait for an Executive Member to approve your application before you can access the site materials.
5. Complete our new members training process. More information on this will be provided closer to the events.

Important, please note the following:

All five steps need to be completed in order to be considered as an active member as defined in the AIESEC Western constitutional guidelines (which is available upon request).

All AIESEC Western members are expected to attend our monthly General Assembly and to keep themselves updated on AIESEC opportunities and events by reading the weekly email update.
