AIESEC Western is not your average university club. Composed of university students and graduates from diverse backgrounds, this well-established organization is part of a larger network of 27 local committees across the country and over 100 national committees across the world. AIESEC functions much like a small business, incorporating sales, operations, human resources, communications and finance sectors into its everyday tasks. The Association is focused on impacting society in a positive manner through developing youth into global-minded business leaders. Members of AIESEC gain access to a multitude of professional and international experiences, including those that are listed below:

• Managing various aspects of a small-business
• Networking with business communities and gaining personal exposure
• Attending, facilitating and/or organizing regional, provincial, national and international conferences
• Working for reputable organizations in another country
• Making invaluable life-long contacts
