AIESEC is an international student organization whose
main function is to offer unmatched opportunities to ambitious students ready
for a challenge in an exciting and dynamic environment. This is done through
AIESEC's Global Internship Program; the program consists of sending current
AIESEC members abroad on paid work internships. Now the Global Internship
Program is dependent on AIESEC's international network. AIESEC's network
consists of 1 700 universities that work to maintain but also to expand AIESEC's
Global Internship Program.
Each university chapter is entirely student-run which
allows AIESEC members to manage the operations of what is essentially a small
business. This is why AIESEC is also an international platform for young people
to discover and develop their potential to have a positive impact on society.
By maintaining the day to day operation of the Global Internship Program and
having the ability to go abroad on paid work internships, AIESEC is an
excellent opportunity for students to break through the barriers of their
classroom walls and gain experience that sets them far above their classmates.
