Going Abroad in 2009 or 2010?  You may apply for our Global Internship Program by Clicking Here. Thank you for your interest in AIESEC.

After you become a member, AIESEC provides a variety of opportunities for you to gain valuable leadership, professional and international experiences outside of the classroom.

All members go through a formal introduction to the organization with our Orientation Day. Then, they begin to take on responsibility in one of our portfolios. They then have the option to take on leadership, work abroad, or both. The final step is to head to the future – to take the skills, inspiration, and networks from AIESEC to have a positive impact in society. This is the AIESEC experience.

The local work of our organization is divided into six portfolios.  Learn more about your personal development here.

Alumni Relations (AR)

Alumni Relations is responsible for re-engaging alumni with opportunities throughout the organization. Alumni can give back to AIESEC via contributions of time, feedback, advice, and support for its members.

Communications (COM)

Communications is responsible for informing the university, external communities and our business networks about AIESEC’S activities through our website, newsletter, events and other mediums.

Finance (F)

Finance is concerned with fundraising for conferences and events through partnerships, grants and events. Finance is also responsible for the budgeting, tracking, and reporting of AIESEC’S revenues and expenses, as well as taxes and payroll.

Corporate Relations (Formerly Incoming Exchange) (CR)

Corporate Relations is responsible for marketing and providing the Global Internship Program to Toronto's local companies. Corporate Relations matches interns with companies, integrates interns through socials and activities and provides company servicing during and post-internship.

Outgoing Exchange (OGX)

Outgoing Exchange markets AIESEC’s Global Internship Program to students and prepares current members to go abroad. Through cultural activities, assessment centres and review boards, members learn about the challenges and opportunities they will face abroad. Outgoing Exchange is also responsible for servicing interns abroad and developing country-to-country partnerships with other Local Committees.

Talent Management (TM)

Talent Management is responsible for both recruiting and the management of our membership. Talent Management also helps our membership assess its strengths and areas of improvement, allowing them to customize their AIESEC experience and personalize their learning experience.

Members that are involved with AIESEC also have the opportunity to take their AIESEC Experience beyond the local level. There are numerous paid and volunteer leadership opportunities at the national and international level. Please contact us for more details.
