Activating Leadership

Peter Gallivan

This member has demonstrated strong coaching and mentoring skills, setting examples for others, and encompassing strong leadership attributes through his or her actions. A change agent, who promotes change through their behaviour as a leader, resilient to challenging and changing situations.

Demonstrating Integrity

Angela Golem

This member has demonstrated an exceptional example of unprecedented completeness in his or her actions through honesty and moral consistency, setting the benchmark for all to look up to and learn from.

Active Participation

Guillaume Lamb

This member has developed immensely through their active participation in AIESEC. Taking initiatives, performing, and learning from others has allowed them to better themselves as an AIESEC member. This member has proven membership development through conferences and seminars, and enjoys opportunities where their participation and involvement attribute to sustaining an environment conducive for learning and feedback.

Striving for Excellence

Janelle Zhao

This member has set the bar high, performing at the highest level of quality and commitment, showing dedication and pleasure in all AIESEC activities, and most importantly has worked in the best interest of AIESEC and the environment.

Acting Sustainably

Heather Whyte

This member understands the importance of being sustainable but, more importantly, acts according to their understanding and promotes acting socially responsible by leading the way, setting examples and encouraging peers to follow suit.

Marketer of the Year

Mohammad Al Azzouni

AIESEC being the platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential requires excellent internships for our future leaders to take part in. This member not only understands the importance of TN’s, but they take the initiative to go above and beyond this, and take action in recruiting the best possible TN’s. Thanks to this individual, AIESEC Ottawa is growing and becoming the recognized chapter.

Entrepreneur of the Year

Simon Paquette

This member demonstrates innovative and entrepreneurial thinking, taking a challenging approach to conventional thinking, and mitigates all risks which follow. By taking the path least taken, this individual has progressed in a manner that is the riskiest, yet has the greatest pay-off. They have created new solutions to current challenges and a new approach to old situations with their flexible thinking and openness to change.

Living Diversity

Bonnie Gunn

This member has embraced and utilized diversity through awareness and sensitivity to different cultures, beliefs and values. AIESEC being a platform for young people to connect internationally, this member is an excellent example of someone who understands the importance of diversity and appreciates the variety of experience and skills that can contribute to the diverse nature of AIESEC. (Team Player) The member has promoted and fostered an environment that is conducive to teamwork, sustaining inclusiveness to all individuals and encouraging others to take an approach that incorporates all. This individual embraces developing oneself and others in the process of working together towards a common goal.
