September Breakfast Academy with the GCC

Benjamin Tal, Deputy Chief Economist with CIBC World Markets will be presenting an economic outlook for Ontario, looking at where we are in the cycle, why the economy is slowing and what it means for interest rates and the dollar.  Mr. Tal will also be discussing China, commodity prices, and the situation in Europe and its impact on Canada.

AIESEC Guelph members will be attending this event to learn more about Ontario's economic future and to network with other local Guelph companies.

AIESEC 'Thank You' Dinner

The University of Guelph has had a close relationship with AIESEC for over 3 years. Currently there are 8 AIESEC interns working at U of G, 1 more to be expected by September. To thank and appreciate AIESEC’s contribution to CCS, Organizational Services and the Office of the CIO and also to celebrate the fruitful cooperation, we would like to invite you for a dinner on Thursday, 16th September, 2010, from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm.

Join us to meet the current leadership team of AIESEC Guelph, the interns and their managers.

Review Board 

 Thinking of going on an internship with AIESEC? One of the steps you will have to take is to attend our Review Board. The Review Board is a panel of past interns, local employers, AIESEC alumni and educational professionals who will interview exchange partipicant candidates to ensure they are prepared to go on an internship abroad with AIESEC. The next review board will be held in the third week of September-- exact date to be confirmed soon.

Induction Days

If you have already attended an information session or have already contacted our office-- it's time to take the next steps in becoming a member! Induction days are a way to get new members more involved with our organization and to receive valuable training. At the end of the induction days, each member will be presented with their membership cards and officially welcomed into AIESEC!

Ontario Atlantic Regional Conference

AIESEC Guelph will be hosting this year's regional conference for local committees coming from the Ontario and Atlantic regions (which includes McMaster, Laurier, UofT, Western, Ottawa, Carleton etc). The conference will be held at the University of Guelph campus and delegates will stay at the Fairfield Inn. Delegates will be introduced to AIESEC in a conference setting and be able to develop personal and professional skills that will help them in the organization and with other involvements.

The conference will be held from October 1-3 anInduction Day in January 2010d will cost $125 which covers accomodations, food, entertainment and training! Registration will be available soon.
